Tangle Earrings
The Antunes Collection was commissioned by the Fruitmarket Gallery Shop in Edinburgh to coincide with their 2023 solo exhibition of Leonor Antunes titled “The apparent length of a floor area”.
With this “Tangled” piece I have measured the standard units I regularly use in my practice which are various sized circular links of silver, and instead included this unit in rubber or a length of chain. Sometimes I have reintroduced this new measurement or converted material to the original, challenging myself to find ways in which they can work together and interact in a wearable way.
